TIP - use Vinted/eBay/Depop for gifts/household needs

I frequently use Vinted and eBay for various things, for example, many people sell gifts you may want to buy for Birthdays/Christmas/Special Occassions for much lower than retail. Similarly with clothing, homeware items and shoes.

As some examples, I've bought:

- Jellycat cuddly toys (with tags as if bought brand new) for my own collection and as nice gifts
- duvet sets (I got a brand new super king set, originally from Wilkos, for £7 delivered)
- pet harnesses/collars/toys/clothing for cold weather,
- clothing (I can't afford Long Tall Sally clothes, or Next clothes from retail, but know that they last, on Vinted I got a brand new, with tags, Long Tall Sally raincoat for £10 delivered)
- warm footware (I have terrible circulation, and want to avoid using my heating too much, I've been able to get authentic UGG boots for £15 delivered)

Often there are new branded items that people are selling cheaply, meaning you get higher quality (that may last much longer) for prices comparable to cheap retail outlets (and are helping with recycling/minimising 'fast fashion' from an ethical perspective)
