Creating opportunities for young people to come together

It would be great to have opportunities to meet up with other young people to socialise and discuss ideas and to hear other people's viewpoints. Perhaps an event once or twice a year where young people could do something fun, meet other people from different backgrounds and then get together to talk about a big question or issue. 

You tend to always meet the same people / only people in your area so don't understand other people's perspectives or get just get to know them. Getting to meet different people is a great way to understand what matters to different people.

Coming together for one event is more appealing than a regular time commitment.
